Diagnostic Clarification Testing

Why Accurate Diagnoses Matter

At Kentlands Psychotherapy, we understand the importance of diagnostic clarification in mental health treatment. In fact, conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD can often present with overlapping symptoms, making an accurate diagnosis a challenge. Therefore, we designed our specialized psychological testing services to provide clarity and precision in diagnosis, ensuring that each client receives the most effective treatment tailored to their specific needs.

Our Approach

  • Comprehensive Assessment: We use a range of standardized testing tools to assess symptoms and their impact on your daily life.
  • Expert Team: Our skilled, experienced psychologists interpret complex clinical data to differentiate between various mental health conditions. We know that, through diagnostic clarity, our assessment team’s feedback can greatly assist your psychotherapist or psychiatric prescriber in providing you with the most effective care.
  • Collaborative Process: We work closely with you and, if appropriate, your healthcare providers to ensure a holistic understanding of your situation.

Benefits of Accurate Diagnosis

  1. Targeted Treatment: Precise diagnosis leads to more effective, individualized treatment plans.
  2. Better Understanding: Gain insights into your mental health condition and how it affects your life.
