Hosting and Sponsorship of Meet-Up Events

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I host one of these events?

Absolutely. We need clinician volunteers like you to host events in your area!

Do you have an office that can accommodate the group? Great, bring in some donuts, bagels, and coffee, and you’re all set. We will assist you by adding you to our calendar rotation and sharing the details through the creation of promotional graphics and email communications.

Maybe you envision hosting a potluck in your backyard or at a city park.

Perhaps you know a local restaurant, bar, or coffee shop near you that might be a good fit for us.

Can my organization co-host or sponsor an event?

We appreciate the interest from many non-clinical staff members at larger organizations and agencies that support mental health and wellness in our community. You’re all an essential part of the care community. So yes, if your organization has a licensed clinician who is actively engaged in direct care or clinical leadership, we encourage them to join the group as an individual. We will happily consider them for hosting in their personal capacity.

All hosts (as with members) must be licensed clinicians themselves and agree to uphold the group’s spirit of connection over promotion.

As such, to maintain the informal and collegial nature of this group, we do not currently offer sponsorships or co-hosting opportunities to organizations, including IOPs, PHPs, hospitals, residential centers, or other corporate healthcare systems where the host/organizer is not a clinician.

The Mental Health & Allied Professionals Meet-Up Group is intended as a grassroots gathering space for licensed clinicians, not a venue for marketing or branded partnerships. Events are hosted by licensed professionals, often in their offices, homes, or favorite local spots, so they feel more personal and less commercial.

Who do I speak with about hosting?

Are you ready to discuss your vision for hosting an event? Awesome!

Please start the process by filling out the form below. We will get back to you soon to discuss fleshing out your idea and brainstorm together on ways to get people “out your way.”

You provide the idea, location, and any coordination with a venue, and we will support you in selecting an available date on the rotation and in notifying the club members.

Once we receive your form, we’ll coordinate with you by email or phone, whatever works best to make hosting easy.

Want to host an upcoming Meet-Up? We’re always looking for licensed professionals who want to open their doors — or backyards, or favorite coffee spots — to our community! Hosting is low-pressure and deeply appreciated. You’ll pick the location, date/time, and provide light refreshments if it’s an office-based event. Our Comms team will take care of the promotions and reminders. Just answer a few quick questions below, and we’ll be in touch to coordinate details and slot you into our rotating schedule.
