Esti Schonbrun, LCSW-C
Hi! I’m Esti Schonbrun, a clinical psychotherapist and mental health educator passionate about fostering authenticity and connection. I specialize in helping clients overcome the lingering effects of past traumas that impact their personal and professional lives. My perspective mirrors that of Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry. “The essence of trauma is a disconnect from the self. Therefore, the essence of healing is not just uncovering one’s past, but reconnecting with oneself in the present.” In therapy, I aim to empower you to nurture resilience, reclaim authenticity, and flourish in all aspects of your life.
I am dedicated to providing an integrative, tailored therapy experience for sustained healing and personal growth. Here, you will find a space where your values are honored, your voice is heard, and your experiences are understood. Moreover, together, we will explore your experiences, deepen insight into your thoughts and emotions, and forge connections with the felt sense in the body.
I want every client to leave therapy feeling empowered and more confident than when they arrived. Our therapeutic journey will be profound yet practical. Using somatic tools, we’ll raise your awareness of your physiological experiences and restore balance and resilience within your nervous system. We will foster greater self-awareness through IFS techniques and rebuild internal trust and self-compassion. Through the principles of Interpersonal Neurobiology, we will establish healthy boundaries and develop more meaningful connections.
I’m moved daily by the remarkable strength and determination of the human spirit, and I am genuinely grateful to witness it in action every day. As a deep thinker, a grounded idealist, and an adventurous introvert, I am excited by all things complex. In all I do, I work towards connection and authenticity. I am honored to support survivors as they reclaim their focus, confidence, and daily sense of peace.
