Hello. We’re Jessica, Andrew, and Stephanie, your Client Care Coordinators. Our team is typically in the office Monday through Friday during client care hours, sometimes mornings, and sometimes evenings. We’re grateful for the opportunity to discuss your needs. As the first person you’ll speak to, we consider it an honor to help you learn about the services you are considering receiving from our clinicians.

Petra Desmond, our Director of Administrative Hospitality, along with all our clinicians, works closely together to ensure we offer you the best clinician-match recommendations. We all appreciate the value of high-quality mental health care. We were drawn to this position by a calling we felt to help individuals get the support they seek for themselves and their loved ones.
Once we have the opportunity to speak with you in depth, your information guides our recommendations about the available resources at our practice. If needed, this might include resources across the broader Montgomery County community. To make the most informed recommendation, we will ask about the type of therapy you are seeking, your preferred treatment style, your preferences for in-person versus virtual care, and any scheduling limitations you may have. Once we have explored these issues in detail, we’ll share with you which therapist and services we believe will best fit your or your loved one’s needs.
What to Expect
That’s how the process starts. Once we’ve agreed on a plan, we help you schedule your first appointment. We’ll set up your patient portal and send you all the necessary paperwork. We all aim for the process to be comfortable, thorough, thoughtful, and straightforward. It is essential to us that your experience during our call is exceptional.
We have administrative professionals and clinicians who are fluent in English, Spanish, and German. Please let us know if you require an alternative language.

As your Client Services Coordinators, we are here to support you throughout your care at Kentlands Psychotherapy. From your first inquiry to your ongoing treatment, our role is to ensure you receive whatever administrative assistance you need. Even after you’ve begun working with your therapist, we remain available to help with any future needs. These might include records requests, accessing medical receipts, or navigating our patient portal. Our goal is to make your experience as seamless as possible so you can focus on your well-being while we take care of the rest.
