Clinical Supervision and Consultation

We’re proud to be one of the DC area’s premier behavioral health psychotherapy practices. As such, our staff members are exceptional in their skills, training, and reputation. It’s no wonder we’re pleased to share much of what makes us so successful through our clinical supervision and consultation services!

At Kentlands Psychotherapy, we love what we do! Moreover, we love sharing our knowledge and approach via clinical consultation with those who want to excel in this work!

We offer private paid Clinical Supervision to nearly licensed clinicians and Clinical Consultation to Professionals in the field. Go to our scheduling platform and look for “Clinical Supervision and Consultation” under the “Services” options.

Experience the Difference

Advanced training in specific psychotherapy skills, or with particular populations, with one of our clinical specialists is an incredibly powerful and deeply personal learning experience.

We approach supervision in an intimate and ‘experience-near’ manner.  Rather than simply talking about your client and their story, you can move seamlessly between your interpersonal and intrapsychic world and your professional (or educational) life.

During this private learning experience, the clinical supervisor will help you explore the interplay between your prior training and clinical work and your innermost personal experiences, perceptions, ambitions, and projections.

In this format, you might begin a session discussing what’s going on with your clients and how you’re feeling about your work with them. But as the discussion evolves, you might uncover a past personal experience, its meaning, and how it has been a trigger that helps you to expand your work, accelerate your effectiveness, deepen your compassion, and grow as a human being.
